Kenduri!!!

So,on the second of Hari Raya...
We're back in Batu Pahat, Johor.
Actually on the first of Hari Raya, on the evening, we're already back to Batu Pahat.
Mak Long house will be too stuffy since there's 3 families staying for the night there.

So this kenduri was made as a rememberence of my late grandma and as like a prayer thingy.
Haiyoh, very hard to explain lar!!
Anyway..we started early in the morning...
Correction..Mom and others started early in the morning..
I joined only after 11 or 12...
(I was tired k??)

And then..slowly as the day passed by..
More and more relatives came and flooded the whole house.
By 8 pm...my granddad's house is full of human beings!!
Cut thing short...
It was a fun and tiring ceremony.
I fell sick the next day..
(I guess it's not entirely the kenduri's fault coz I stayed up till 4.30 am playing monopoly with cousins..c'mon..how often in a year you can actually do that??)
I also included some pictures for a more realistic imaginations..(that doesn't make sense right??)

The Remaining Kuih Raya at Kampung after the attack of Wan (he's like this cookie monster who eats every existing cookies in any house..especially those made by my mom.He's a big fan of mom's cooking.)
My aunt even hid some kuih raya in case we need it in the future.

Some of the leftovers from the kenduri.
Anti-clockwise : There's chicken curry, ayam masak merah (yes it is named like that...it's chicken coated with sambal), and sambal goreng (yes...sambal goreng.I don't get why they call it sambal either..it's vegetable like long beans,tofu, some other vege I dunno what's the name in english,
mee like thing, chicken heart, prawn, and few other things.) It may sound disgusting, and looks disgusting too...but rest assured..IT IS VERY NICE.

Like I said before..I like to post more pics..but mom was angry..
So these are the only ones I got to take...
But it was fun...
We all stayed up till 4.30 am including the cookie monster, Wan who has SPM in 2 weeks..
not to study..but to play Monopoly, Uno and Heart Attack!!

On the fourth of Hari Raya..
Daddy as the master of the kids..
Drove all of my cousins to Wet World..
I did not go for my health disagree with the idea.
And I wanted to be an angel and help mom at home to prepare (and eat) sandwiches!!
